INHALT

Der junge Soldat Bruno desertiert von seiner Truppe, um in der brasilianischen Metropole Porto Alegre nach seinem verschollenen Bruder Leo zu suchen, den er jahrelang nicht gesehen hat. Von Leo fehlt scheinbar jede Spur, doch Bruno lernt dessen Freunde kennen: die Barfrau Stella, die Party-Kids Iggy, Ariel und Kin und deren "Generalin", die Club-Besitzerin und Drag-Queen Marlene. Bruno lässt sich immer mehr auf das wilde Treiben der Gang ein, auf sexuelle Experimente und lustvolle Exzesse, aber auch auf die merkwürdige Geborgenheit, die ihm seine neuen Freunde geben. Allmählich beginnt Bruno die Welt mit Leos Augen zu sehen. Dabei ist er seinem Bruder dichter auf den Fersen, als er glaubt.

SYNOPSIS

Bruno, a young military who has just run away from the army, travels to Porto Alegre in search of his brother, who he hasn’t seen in years. He cannot find his brother in the city but meets his friends, learns about what was his life, and even experiments with the same things his lost brother lived. He discovers a new space where he is free to be himself and explore his sexuality. Away from home, Bruno finds a new family.
